Bailey, the Golden Retriever, was given a golden handshake by his dear recently departed owner, Constance Pennington, in the movie Bailey’s Billion $. A handshake to the tune of billions. Of dollars. Not exactly what Caspar, her nephew, and Dolores, his wife, would have envisaged even in their worst nightmares. So they had to find a way to undo her will, so to say. Did they succeed? Not if Bailey and his friends, both two-legged and four-legged, could help it.

The Shaggy Dog is a movie about a man who is better as a dog. Dave Douglas, a deputy district attorney, is bitten by Khyi-yag-po, a 300-year-old mutated Bearded Collie. The dog’s modified DNA enters Dave’s bloodstream. Whenever he becomes agitated, he transforms into a Bearded Collie. As a dog, he finds out many things about his family that he never realized as a man.
Imagine a French Mastiff. One hundred kilograms of sinewy strength and feral ferocity. Imagine this dog with its slavering jaws clamped on the exposed throat of a man. What are the chances that the said man will still be around to drink his cup of coffee the following morning? This scenario is found right at the beginning of the movie Turner and Hooch. Hooch being the dog and Turner being the man in question. Sounds like a very short movie, doesn’t it? Watch the film to find out who will still be among the living at the end.
